In business-to-business scenarios, we are often dealing with very large documents. For example, an invoice a company receives from another company can have many thousands of lines. A financial journal loaded from a retail system can have tens of thousands of lines. There are use cases where users need to be able to view these large documents, filter the lines, select some lines, do more filtering and selecting, and eventually initiate an action on the selection. For performance reasons, we only show 100 rows at a time. What is the best selection experience for users?
